Free to Act or Acting Free!

Over the years, there has always been a debate on what freedom really means. Individuals and nations have defined freedom slightly differently. However, there has always been a belief commonly held by almost all; that freedom is a noble concept. Nations as well as individuals have fought and sacrificed much to attain freedom, live free, and die free.
Over the years, some individuals and nations misunderstood and misused their freedom. They actually believed it was a right to exercise their freedom in every way they deemed right. They even believed they were free to subdue and deprive others of their very freedom. Depriving people of their freedom took many forms and shapes, the worst of which was enslaving individuals and invading communities. While the latter hasn’t completely disappeared, other forms of misrepresentation of what freedom really is have come to being.
An evident example of that, is the so-called freedom of speech that some believe it is their right. They even claim it is the freedom that their ancestors have fought for. They are implicitly implying that insulting, ridiculing, and satirizing others runs in their bloodstream and that they have actually inherited it from their early forefathers.
It is astonishing to claim that freedom of speech is noble, and still use it to ridicule and humiliate others. I don’t mean ANY others. I mean those who have been known throughout history to be nobler than the noblest. By this time, you should know who I am talking about. It is the LEADER of all TIMES; the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The one has even been and still is honored and held in a high esteem by the fair and the balanced among all, including many westerners themselves, and even from the very country where the ridiculing cartoons have originated.
It’s high time you stopped acting free. IF you think you are free to offend; are you ready to take offence from those who think they are free to offend? I hope the world won’t adopt you version of freedom, for if they do, the world will become a jungle. It’s high time the FREE nations and Individuals denounced the CARTOONIST’s version of freedom of speech, just as the followers of the ridiculed prophet have denounced the terrorists. Let’s not forget that WORDS start WARS. Let’s not forget that our freedom ends where the freedom of others begins.
