* Will they give me the latest state-of-the art equipment? Most dealers will give you new equipment, but a few will try to stick you with used equipment.

* Do they offer the best price on satellite TV service? The best price I’ve found for DISH Network programming is $19.99 a month for 40 channels. The best price I’ve found for DIRECTV programming is $29.99 a month for 45 channels which includes local channels - ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, The CW, etc. (See link below.)

* Can I get an HD (high definition) receiver or a DVR (digital video recorder) receiver? The best dealers will give you a free HD or DVR receiver upon request. They will even give you a free combination HD/DVR receiver.

* Does this dealer provide good customer service? You want a dealer who will answer any questions you may have and fix any problems with your system.
